Available at BMW dealerships nationwide, the Gen M Tour can help you experience the breathtaking speed, sharp handling, and overall appeal of these performance variants. Please keep in mind that our Gen M Tour event is a first-come, first-served event. To enjoy test-driving our selection of BMW M performance vehicles, we ask that you arrive early to have the chance to drive one. We also offer advance registration to secure your place, so act now before all places are full. Also, remember that customers must be 25 years old to drive one of our vehicles. A: The BMW Gen M Tour is an exciting in-store test-drive experience allowing you to get behind the wheel of the latest and greatest in BMW M and BMW M Performance models.
A: Each Gen M Tour event will consist of six different M Performance vehicles to test drive: M2, M3 Competition, M5, X3 M50, X7 M60, and XM.
A: Yes, if you’d like to register for an upcoming Gen M Tour event at your local BMW center, please visit genmtour.eventsbmw.com for more information. Pre-registration is recommended to secure your preferred arrival time. Limited on-site registration may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.Â
A: Drivers must be at least 25 years of age, with a valid license, in order to participate in the Gen M Tour Drives. Licenses will be verified on site.
A: Guests can drive as many vehicles as time and availability allows. If there is a waitlist for a specific model, the on-site event staff will coordinate the next available opening. Event staff reserves the right to limit the number of test drives per guest.Â
A: All 2026 BMW Gen M Tour events are complimentary.
A: Yes, all guests must check in with a BMW staff member upon arrival. Guests participating in a driving experience (as a driver or passenger) must sign a waiver. On-site driver registration is first-come, first-served and not guaranteed.
A: Yes, guests of registered drivers may ride along after checking in and signing a waiver on-site. Please note that car seat installation is not permitted, and only registered drivers may operate the vehicles.Â
