2025 BMW iX Specs
Compared to the iX competition, this new BMW hits all the marks when it comes to performance and range. It is powered by two different engine options depending on the trim level. The xDrive50 features Dual all-electric motors with a total power output of 516-hp and 564 lb-ft of torque that propels this SUV from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.
The high-performance M60 trim cuts that 0-60 time down to a lightning-quick 3.6 seconds with its 610 hp and 811 lb-ft of instant torque. With a drag coefficient of just 0.25 Cd, the BMW iX is the most aerodynamic SUV ever built by the brand. It has a governed maximum speed of 130 mph.
The My Modes feature allows you to customize your driving experience with Sport, Efficient, and Personal settings.
2025 BMW iX Interior
It's hard to believe just how luxurious the interior of this new BMW feels - like flying first class on a private jet! You'll love every inch of it, from the available open-pore wood finish to the crystal-adorned glass controls.
Driver and passengers sit on comfortable power seats covered in your choice of luxurious standard upholstery or available sustainable materials like vegan-tanned leather. With 41.5 inches of headroom all around and generous legroom, even tall passengers won't feel cramped.
There is up to 35.5 cubic feet of cargo capacity behind the rear seats, so plenty of room for all your gear. Another impressive feature is the liquid crystals in the Panoramic Sky Lounge LED Roof.
2025 BMW iX Exterior
The iX exterior exudes a sleek, futuristic stance with its aerodynamic enhancements and expansive proportions. Slim twin LED headlights flank BMW's iconic, illuminated kidney grille. By the way, it now doubles as an intelligent panel housing advanced sensor technology.
In the rear, slim LED taillights and a drag-reducing rear diffuser contribute to that head-turning silhouette. Even the rear-view camera is cleverly hidden in the center of the BMW roundel badge.
2025 BMW iX Tech
As an electric vehicle, the iX comes packed with all the latest technology BMW has to offer. It runs on the new BMW Operating System 8.5, displayed on a curved screen spanning nearly the entire dashboard.
The BMW Curved Display consists of a reconfigurable 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a massive 14.9-inch central touchscreen. As for sound, BMW is innovative again. The Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system has 30 speakers and a 4D audio-tactile experience that uses bass for a new kind of experience. You have to feel it to believe it!
2025 BMW iX Safety
With all that advanced technology, it's no surprise that the latest driver assistance safety features also come standard. Both iX trim levels include Active Blind Spot Detection and Lane Departure Warning to help keep you alert on the road.
If you want an extra, you can get the Available Highway Assistant with Active Lane Change. It lets you drive hands-free as long as you remain under 85 mph and on specific highways. The driver must stay attentive and take over if needed.
For added peace of mind, while parked, the available Remote 3D View feature lets you check on your BMW status anytime using the My BMW App. If an alarm is triggered, anti-theft video recording will automatically send exterior and interior footage straight to your smartphone for instant viewing.
2025 BMW iX Trim Levels
When it comes to the 2025 BMW iX, you have two exciting trim options to choose from.
xDrive50
As the name implies, the xDrive50 comes
equipped with BMW's renowned xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system. It has
an EPA-estimated driving range between charges of 302 to 309 miles. The
xDrive50 rides on standard 20-inch Aero Frozen Dark Grey wheels while Available
Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with Laser light make quite a visual statement.
You'll also enjoy the convenience of the universal garage door opener.
Inside, perforated Sensatec upholstery,
Anthracite headliner, and Gold Bronze trim accents add warmth. Tech features
include wireless device charging and a Harman Kardon Surround Sound system with
a 205-watt digital amplifier and 12 speakers placed throughout the cabin. Set
just the right mood with the multi-color adjustable ambient lighting. A heated
steering wheel takes the edge off frosty morning commutes.
M60
If you crave pure performance, the M60
trim is the one for you. As BMW's high-output motorsport division, the M60 has
larger standard 21-inch Aero Bi-color wheels and M Sport brakes with blue
calipers. Also added to this trim level is an adaptive 2-axle Air Suspension
with electronic dampers and an integral Active Steering system. Inside, M
interior trim in Dark Silver sets the sporting tone, as does the 3-spoke M
Sport steering wheel.
The Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround
Sound system makes its appearance here as well. To take things to the next
level, go for the available Luxury Package. It will bring crystals (yes,
crystals) to your center console. That will be set on a panel made from
eco-friendly open-pore wood with an attractive walnut finish.
