Performance & Tech.
Every 2 Series comes with a standard 8-Speed Sport Automatic Transmission. The 230i and Gran Coupe models feature a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine, while the M240i and M2 models offer a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine by BMW M. Next, you'll recognize xDrive, an intelligent all-wheel drive system that sends power where it's needed most. Standard M Sport Suspension and M Sport Differential are at performance-oriented levels.
The M2 gives you up to 473 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque to go from 0-60 in 4.1 seconds with the manual transmission. If you choose the available 8-speed M Sport Automatic Transmission (453 hp), that time is cut to 3.9 seconds. The slowest coupe is the 230i Coupe, which goes from 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds. With xDrive, that time is cut to 5.3 seconds.
The 240i goes from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, and the 240i xDrive goes from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds. The Gran Coupe is no slouch either. The 228 Gran Coupe does 6.1 seconds thanks to 241 horsepower. The M235 does 4.7 seconds with 312 horsepower.
Interior Luxury & Comfort.
The 2025 BMW 2 Series makes up for its lack of space with an impressive array of interior features. Still, the coupe can comfortably accommodate two passengers in front, including the driver, and two in the rear. The big news is the new available M Sport Leather Steering Wheel and the updated ambient lighting. The comfortable standard Sport Seats come in a variety of colors.
You'll also find fancy features inside the cabin, such as lighting effects that respond to temperature. Cleverly integrated interior air vents embody form and function. The power moonroof opens up the cabin to fresh air and sunshine.
Exterior Design Evolution.
The 2 Series remains iconic by its shark nose profile. The adaptive LED headlights pierce through darkness with brilliant clarity, while the three-dimensional rear taillight design creates a distinctive light signature at night.
The available M Sport Professional Package includes a coordinating high-gloss black rear spoiler. New paint options include Vegas Red metallic and Skyscraper Grey metallic. Zandvoort Blue also becomes available on the M240i model. Wheels range in size and style from 18 inches to 20 inches on the M2.

This vehicle packs an incredible amount of high tech into its compact frame. The highlight is the pairing of a 12.3-inch Digital Instrument Cluster with a 14.9-inch Central Information Display.
Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work with the BMW Operating System 8.5. BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant and My BMW app help with daily tasks like playing music, locking and unlocking doors, and more. As for audio, you're treated to a Harman Kardon Premium Sound System.

This package includes the Aerodynamic Kit, available Adaptive M Suspension, M Steering Wheel, and Shadowline exterior trim. M240i.
This is the first performance model that gives you a 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds with xDrive. You can also choose rear-wheel drive for this one. The M240i comes with the Aerodynamic Kit as standard, so no extra cost, and an integrated rear spoiler as standard.For this year, we have a brand-new M leather flat-bottomed steering wheel, as well as beautiful front air intakes, and a kidney grille. 18-inch M wheels come standard, with 19-inch options available as part of upgrade packages.
M2.
The BMW M2 is the best 2 Series ever built. Even if the most impressive part is the fine-tuned engine, there are interesting interior features. For instance, you'll find the M badge and M-color stitching. There's also an M Alcantara steering wheel available.The M Sport Seats or available M Carbon Bucket Seats hold you in place during spirited driving, and the M Carbon Roof is an aerodynamic masterpiece. 2 Series Gran Coupe.
If you like the general look of the 2 Series but wish there were more room, you're in luck. BMW has a Gran Coupe, which comes with four doors and more interior room.
228i xDrive.
The BMW 228i comes with everything that makes the 230i great, such as the LED headlights and the iconic BMW Kidney Grille, but it also comes with standard Adaptive M Suspension.The main difference is the roominess. With four doors, you can fit up to five passengers. It's also recognizable by a much wider rear stance and a sporty roof that's available in black for the first time. The interior comes with Standard Illuminated Aluminum Graphite Trim.
235i xDrive.
This model keeps the size increases but adds performance features like a 312-hp engine, M Sport Brakes, and Adaptive M Suspension.
