BMW X3 vs Audi Q5

The BMW X3 vs. the Audi Q5
- BMW knows its drivers want a lot of high-tech and current amenities on their new vehicles, and the X3 delivers. Every BMW X3, starting at the entry-level sDrive30i and xDrive30i, receives a comprehensive list of tech features that includes standard satellite radio and a standard navigation system, neither of which are standard for the Audi Q5.
- Not only does the BMW X3 provide more features as standard equipment than the Q5, it also makes more high-end amenities available as option on wider range of trims than the Audi. For example, take a closer look at the entry-level BMW models again. In addition to the extensive standard list of features, Maryville, TN drivers also get the option of adding such things as ventilated seats and heated rear seats. However, these are not options available on the base model Audi Q5 and, in fact, you wouldn't be able to get them unless you move up trim levels.
- Express yourself and get the level of power and performance you're after with the BMW X3. There are three great versions of this SUV available for your customization purposes, including the traditional gas-powered version, an efficient hybrid model, and a performance tuned version from the legendary BMW M Line. The Audi Q5 is missing some customization options. You can get it with gas power or hybrid power, but there are no other options available.
- Go further on your tank of gas with the X3 as well. Base model BMW SUVs are rated for 25 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined. But the Audi Q5 is rated for 23 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined.
- Similarly sized on the outside, the BMW maximizes its interior better. Look for more cargo room in the X3, as well as more headroom, especially in the front seat.
You'll Prefer the BMW X3 over the Audi Q5 if...
- ...you like more cargo room for your groceries, golf clubs, suitcases, and more.
- ...you're looking for the option of a high-powered, performance crossover.
- ...you enjoy driving around town in a vehicle that's equipped with all the latest automotive technologies.
- ...you prefer the finer things, including pampering features, materials, and a spacious interior.
