2019 BMW X5 Redesign: What to Expect

What Will the Redesigned 2019 BMW X5 Look Like?

The BMW X5 has been on the scene for a number of years but it’s 2019 version is rolling in with a fresh redesign. The 2019 BMW X5 will be 1.1-inches longer. It will also have a 2.6-inch wider and a 1.6-inch longer wheelbase. That means that it will sit slightly lower, sporting an aggressive stance.

The exterior of this Sports Activity Vehicle ® (SAV ®) won’t change too much. It will sport a slightly larger grill and a more 3-D look to its taillights. As always, it has a dual kidney grille that is sure to catch your eye. The dynamic exterior lines not only add style but improve aerodynamics. It sits on standard 19-inch wheels but folks have the option to upgrade up to 22-inch wheels.

Interior and Technology

For technology, it will offer remote engine start, hill-ascent and hill-descent control. Adaptive LED headlights are standard on this BMW model. Two 12.3-inch screens come standard in this model to provide you with easily-accessible information about your vehicle. The cabin is accented with ambient and contour lighting to impress your passengers while an available panoramic roof has light embedded into the glass to look like stars.

The interior is crafted with premium materials that are expertly-stitched to deliver one stylish ride. The tailgate can be opened two different ways to access the cargo area. It can open as a single unit or it can be a top and bottom separate opening. The rear seats can be folded down with the push of a button for more cargo space, if necessary.

Safety Features

The BMW X5 offers many of the same safety features as previous models. Although, there is one new feature. There is an available camera that monitors your eye movements. If it picks up on signs of fatigue then it can warn you to pull over and get some rest.
